25 weeks!

Lauryn...
Your room is painted and your crib is assembled. Your
butterfly bedding is on the bed, the mobile is up, and the rug is on the floor. I love that you now have your own room. I go in there twice a day, turn on your mobile, and just stand next to your crib. I can't wait to meet you.
Your daddy was so excited about your furniture, he took off of work last Monday and he and grandma Sammie drove across town to pick it up. The hutch and rails will be in in four weeks.

Daddy loves to sing to you. The other night he showed you how to make me cry. He sang Butterfly Kisses and Tell 'Lauryn' I Love Her and of course within seconds I was crying. I wonder if you will be as emotional as I am... we'll have to wait and see....

Dad and I have done lots of research on your car seat and are close to a decision. There is so much to consider with regards to safety features, weight, base size, etc. I could have never imagined that there were
soooo many options.

I bought you the cutest outfit this weekend at Doodles. I couldn't resist the 'L' bow with 'L' shirt and 'L' pants. You are going to look so precious all dolled up in your cute outfits.

You have been jumping around more and more. Sometimes you get your legs in a certain position and push outwards with all your might. It doesn't feel too good, but I am glad you are exercising! Yesterday when Dad put his hand on my side, you responded with a quick kick. Dad thinks my belly is so 'cute' and talks to you everyday.

In just 15 weeks Dad and I will be holding you in our arms.... wow! You are loved so much!

23 weeks, 17 to go!

I just get so excited I can't stand it.... I feel like June 11th is the Christmas morning of my dreams, I can see it far in the distance, but just am still not sure that it is really going to come!

Lauryn, you are headed down the 200% percent girl road. Mommy bought you poka dotted tights this weekend and many bows. Daddy says you won't wear bows when you are with him. Well, if you are anything like me, you won't have hair for a long time. So.... if Daddy doesn't want complements on his pretty 'son', you might need some bows~ Your Grandma Sammie and Nana are getting so excited. They have bought you such precious little outfits and gifts. It is such a blessing to have family so close to share in your arrival. I can't wait to meet you! To help you in every way I can. To love you beyond belief. To share in your dreams. To watch you become a beautiful woman! I am already so proud of you! Keep on growing.

The latest and greatest....
- Lauryn is now on the daycare list for Aldine. Not sure if this is definitely where she will be going, but at least she has a spot. It was so hard to see 8 infants in a room. I felt like I was at the zoo. The ladies were so nice, but it was hard to imagine Lauryn (who is number 1 in my eyes) being one of eight in a room. I am praying for strength and peace for now. I know that God will see me through the difficulty of dropping her off everyday. At least I could nurse during lunch! That breaks up the long days apart.....

I bought a maternity swimsuit this weekend. So excited to get in the pool this spring and relax!

Lauryn's room is slowly coming together. We almost have it completely cleared out. The paint color is picked. So hopefully, next week... the painter can paint the whole room pink! We will order the furniture this weekend!

22 weeks

Wow! Only 18 weeks to go!

Some cute things to share....

1) Daddy felt Lauryn kick! It was so precious!

2) Momma threw up on on Rosie with a smell aversion... oops! There was nothing I could do to stop it! Rosie looked at me like I had completely violated her! Soory Roise! The beauty of pregnancy

3) Nana and I registered at Babys R Us on Saturday which was soooo difficult!
